Silicon Valley is home to many of the world's largest technology corporations. It is home to the greatest innovators of our time. Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Reid Hoffman & Sergey Brin to name a few, have all based their businesses at Silicon Valley.
'Silicon Valley comes to UK' is an annual programme that welcomes pioneers of the most disruptive consumer internet and green technologies to the UK.
Nottingham Entrepreneurs is ...one of the few societies around the UK holding this enterprise event in collaboration with 'Silicon Valley comes to UK'.
Event theme : DOMINATING THE DARWIN ECONOMY.
We will be having workshops, competitions and speaker sessions with highly successful entrepreneurs from around the UK to give you their tips & insights on how to help business's survive in todays economy.
We will be providing speaker sessions by a variety of successful technological entrepreneurs from this region. Our speakers will be explaining the principles of Silicon Valley and technological entrepreneurship. These individuals are founders of some of the most used websites in the country.
The event will take place in the Great Hall, Trent Building, University Park Campus from 10.30am till 5.30pm with an informal networking session from 5.30pm till 6.30pm afterwards.
